Guest guest
Thank ya'll for this great group! What a helpful resource! My husband (30yo) has Ankylosing Spondylitis. He did a few years of Enbrel (helped at first), and then tried Humira (not very helpful) before we stumbled onto AP. He's been to see Dr. Sentef, and has been on the protocol for 4+ months now. We think it might be helping? A little bit? We're grateful that he's off the humira/enbrel nastiness, and he hasn't needed his cane for awhile. However the pain is still constant. Unrelenting pain that moves around; usually the hips or back, sometimes the neck, and always an overall achiness. Can ya'll think of anything that might help while we're waiting for the AP to do its job? I saw someone mention methotrexate in an earlier post today. Is that generally helpful with AS? We have several small children, and it would be great if it didn't hurt so much for him to romp with them! An suggestions would be most welcome!
