Val, thank you so much. Wasn't sure if that applied only to HC, so I'm

glad I asked.

My son is a Stage 5, if I am understanding the chart correctly (he has

low cortisol and normal DHEA). I realize I probably should go with HC,

but being he is ultra sensitive to meds and that he is nonverbal (lost

his speech as a result of vaccine damage around age two),I opted for

Dr. Borkin's protocol for now. I have read very good things about him,

but don't think many on this group use him. Do you have any thoughts

on his approach?

I want to believe he will recover from this, but it is all so very

scary. Can't imagine going through this without you and this group, Val.

It is BEST to be off all adrenal supplements except vitamins and sea

salt for at least 2 weeks before testing. This not only give time for

the adrenals to recover theire cortiosl production but for the HPA axis

to return to it's normal routine.
