You go Sally! You do have lots of living to do!! I believe everything does

happen for a reason and your choices like mine have taken us here to these

amazing alternative medications that will finally heal our bodies,

supplements, Doctors, and these forums. Your journey is quite divine and

you have a long way to go in good health!

It took my mother several times to finally receive disability also for adult

onset of *Scoliosis* (curving of the spine). She became addicted to pain

pills and had never stopped. She will not be interested in AP. How long

have you been taking Minocin? Are you also taking LDN?

I started Serrapeptase today. I had read a few threads from this group

discussing it. It touches on so many of my isses. It is a protien

digesting enzyme that promotes healthy mobility, joint function, increased

circulation, cardiovascular support, to assist in the support of healthy

vasuclar system and more........ I am taking 100,000 SU capsule daily upon

rising. The brand I chose at Whole Foods is Enzymedica and the product is

called SerraGold. It's vegetarian and vegan, soy, dairy and gluten free.

http://www.ehow.com/facts_5023009_benefits-serrapeptase.html

S*errapeptase has been used to treat chronic sinusitis, carpal tunnel

syndrome, sprains and torn ligaments, fibrocystic breast disease, ovarian

cysts, ear, nose and throat infections, fibromyalgia, varicose veins,

emphysema, asthma, bronchitis, migraines (vascular), Inflammatory Bowel

Diseases (IBD) including Crohn's, colitis and cystitis, enlarged prostate,

pain, and postoperative inflammation. Some researchers believe Serrapeptase

can play an important role in arterial plaque (hardening of the arteries)

prevention and removal.* *Unlike over-the-counter NSAIDs, Serrapeptase has

not been shown to cause ulcers and stomach bleeding.*

I am very impatient too. Yesterday would be good for me. LOL

14 week AP (100 mg MWF) 12 week LDN (4.5mg) Prednisone 4 ys. Now on 2mg and

slowly getting off that stuff! I took serrapactace for some time. Didn't feel

results, so stopped. That's the tough one....when to stop something, or

continue....plus $ factor. My " latest " is to have a women, from long distance,

use a dousing rod to help me determine what supps to continue and what not to.

Some I intuitive know, and she confirms. Now for the newest

" latest " ..........an far infared quartz crysal pad to sleep on. I have a

infrared sauna and these screaming joints and bones greatly benefit....but

haven't physically been able to get in and out of sauna for over a year. A

friend brought over her mat for me to sleep on for 3 nights. My body, joints,

bones LOVED that deep penetrating heat. I'm getting this healing all night

long, and had some deep naps on the biopad. It is the next few days after she

took it, that I knew how it was benefiting me. Of course, it's quite costly,

but I feel I've saved so much money from not going out for 4 years or not buying

gas for 2 years! The penetrating cold is coming soon here in Iowa.....I feel

like if I get the mat, I'm turning it on, and hibernating for the winter! Sally

Sally, that really is the tough one ... I have the basics down but the

additional supplements can be confusing as to the true benefit. I would

like to be a part of that group of women helping one another out to

determine what supps to continue and what not too. Keep us posted on the

infared quartz crystal pad. I hope that helps you to get some relief and

restorative rest. how costly is costly? I live in south FL so no cold

here. I love it but must admit I miss the seasons.

What I'm learning, and also knowing, that there is real good supps. out there,

highly recommended and talk to people benefiting from them. However.......if

the body is not lacking that particular nutrient(s), then it can be a waste of

money. A Doc friend of mine once said " The most important nutrient for your

body is.........the one you're missing " Everything we are doing towards

wellness, to me is like a pie with several pieces. This is one of them. When

everything comes together.....I have a lovely delicious pie! sally
