Guest guest
Correct, and that is why the testing must be done before starting to get some sort of picture. If you are now on antibiotics and want to know what your D levels are you have to stop it for a couple of week before. At least that is the way I interpret things Amy wrote: > According to the resident experts who represent Trevor Marshall, the D > ratio has no value if you are have taken any vitamin D (from food or > supplements) or if you are on Benicar. Guest guest
The D ratio loses significance for nearly *everyone*. Not just for those who are on MP. By their words, the D ratio carries less significance, period, than D1,25. Also, even if you want to give it value, even if you aren't on MP, you need to be a person who does not take fish oils, or a multi vitamin (which contains vitamin D),or any other vitamin D source. Also, even before MP, the ratio doesn't have much significance if your D3 is above 15! That is a deficient state already.
