D ratios carries less significance

According to the resident experts who represent Trevor Marshall, the D

ratio has no value if you are have taken any vitamin D (from food or

supplements) or if you are on Benicar. Here are their words:

http://www.marshallprotocol.com/forum22/4447.htm*l

*The D ratio is a /*guide* /to the amount of systemic Th1 inflammation

based on the_ unaltered_ levels of 25-D (no supplementation of vitamin

D) and _accurate_, measurement of 1,25-D (_unaltered by medication_).

*It is only meaningful under certain conditions /before the MP is started./

*Thus, the D ratio (ratio of 25-D to 1,25-D) is not a sufficient

indicator of vitamin D dysregulation, especially when 25-D levels rise

above 15 ng/ml.

Now that we know more about the molecular activity of vitamin D

metabolism, the D ratio carries less significance. Pre-MP, it is an

adequate clinical guesstimate of Th1 inflammation (but an inadequate

scientific analysis) _if _it is able to be interpreted accurately. */The

D ratio has no value _after_ the MP has begun.
