Hi everyone,

This is to let you know that my daugther has received an ABI after having

her other tumour removed on the first on November. She is under Dr.

Brackmann's care. Now she has facial paralysis on both sides as the doctors

had to cut and connect her facial nerve during the surgery. She was

re-admitted in the hospital last Monday because she has some CF leakage

threw the nose. Today, she had no leakage so I hope that she is on the way

for more recovery. I got to meet with Carla's mother and her husband. I

had seen Carla's message on the crew so I tried to find her. Marie-

is scheduled to come back on the 19th of February to work with Steve Otto.

He seems to be a very nice person. Marie- is in good spirits but I

know that we are a bit sheltered here at Seton Hall. Her biggest challenge

will be at home!

Im glad the news for Marie is good. Hopefully that facial nerve will

come back fast. Shes a tough cookie thats for sure, you must be very

proud:) Im sure everything will continue going well, sounds like she has

the best of Drs. I have heard so much good about them at HEI. Hang in
