AP Treatment in land

Hi everyone:

I'm new to the group and have been trying to do all the research I can on my

diagnosis of RA. I haven't had a lot of tests yet because once I was diagnosed

by a doctor because of my RA level in my bloodwork it took me a long time to try

to see a Rhuemy at land U. Once i was there he took 5 min with me and told

me to get more blood work and come back in 6 weeks. i became discouraged. Now

that my symptoms are getting worse and I can't live off advil I have been trying

to learn everything I can in the past 6 months. I am looking for a doctor in

land/Northern VA that might use the AP treatment. I looked into a holistic

doctor knows to do the AP but he is $450 an hour and my first day I will be

there 6 hours and doesn't take insurance. Unfortunately, I can't afford much of

anything right now. I got the name of a Dr. Kempf in Virginia off of a website

but can't find much info on him, has anyone ever used him or heard of him? Any

help is really appreciated I'm glad I found a group where I can try to learn

more about these illness's.

I went to the Mirkin clinic in MD and they started me on the minocycline. since

then my local family DR agreed to prescribe it for me (she waited to see what

would happen first!) But even with the Mirkin clinic I got most of my info on

the web sites and brought it with me to the Drs. I am not sure if Dr Levin in

Aldie VA would also do it? I see them for a different reason. Also note my

bottle of Minocycline came with the insert that actually now says " May be used

to treat RA " so your family DR should be able to prescribe it for you. Kathy
