Need to get that large stomach checked pronto. Glad the pain subsided, but the sudden weight gain on you is not normal. I know you are a bitty little thing barely making 100 lbs, soaking wet. Get back to me on our personal site. I want to know what is going on. Love ya kid. This is the means by which " watermelon stomach " is diagnosed, not purely by symptoms or guesswork. Why rely on imperfect diagnoses by other that a specifically trained diagnostician? An ER doc is not trained in this area. Get scoped. Especially because the treatment is specific to condition. And if it is something else, there is a good chance he'll see what it is. Why play guessing games with something like this? Guest guest
Hi Sohelia, Lynne, everybody etc. Thanks for asking re: my being quiet. Unusual for me! Hehe! I have been so busy with my Mom and her Alzheimers that I haven't had time to think of myself. So, I'm beyond feelings at this point. Mom had two meltdowns yesterday. Refused to leave the motel, so they called the police who came to diffuse the problem. They said if she didn't leave, they would take her to the hospital for an evalutation. She turned back into the sweet old lady mode in two seconds and dismissed the police. We all laughed and then I was able to give her a shower, dress her and continue on our trip. Arrived in Pensacola finally and found a nice temporary place to stay while we search for the house with a real estate agent. So far, so good. Today, I will be busy with the lots to do including finding a family doc. Staying busy has it's advantages. I don't have to to think of myself. Can't complain. Guess I've learned to just skate along from day to day. Can't complain. Take care everyone and hope you get that stomach problem under control Gail. Listen to these gals with Celiac. They know what they are talking about. Take care, Love to all Dolores From: Jeffery <jefferysahotmail (DOT) com> Subject: RE: rheumatic Re: SD/Digestion Question rheumatic@grou ps.com Date: Saturday, October 11, 2008, 11:20 AM I think you need to see a gastroenterologist for a diagnosis.
