Grits are HEAVEN ON EARTH!!! Unfortunately, the midwest hasn't got a clue

how to make them...I can't even find the slow-cook kind without driving many

hrs. to the south. :-( And no, I'm not a transplanted southerner. But I was

born in Africa and my first solid food was a dish made from corn meal that

is much like grits, only thicker and served with a very rich chicken broth.

And count me in as a fish-hating SEAFOOD lover! :-)
