Guest guest
It is certainly odd that the stiffness goes away during the day. Seems inactivity as you sleet causes an issue. I agree with all the others that perhaps instead of Doxycyline you try using EITHER the BRAND Vibramycin, or a generic MINOCYCLINE. The latter is shown to have a greater efficacy in penetrating into the joints to combat whatever is causing the inflammation. I use TEVA brand minocycline right how, but have used two other brands, and ALL WORKED WONDERFULLY. By contrast the generic doxycyline (watson) worked for a while, wonderfully, then they changed their supplier of one or more inert ingredients. It was over a period of several months, but my situation degraded substantially, until I could no longer see any benefit whatsoever from the drug.tThe inert ingredients are key to the delivery system, especially for RA. If the molecules are too large, the stuff cannot penetrate the joint areas. Supplements are nice, but there is something underlying that is not working as well as it should. Generic minocycline is everywhere and not expensive at all. (see my postings...I had a roller coaster ride due to doxycycline issues...now I use VIBRAMYCIN one month, then MINOCYCLINE the next month...same dosage. You can jump start improvement by using two 100mg doses per day for 7 days a week for a few weeks...as you improve, gradually reduce the dosage to whatever keeps it going.
