Guest guest
> 1) starting cortef and continuing T3 only in > conjunction with this (and best way to do this > with dosing schedule, amount of cortef, stopping > T3 for a week prior, etc.) Starting Cortef and keeping the T3 going but at a reduced level for the first day or two in case there is some pooling. T3 levels sink quickly which makes it much easier to start cortef, For advice on starting doses you can try the adrenal board as it looks like Val is busy at the moment, http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ Do you have saliva labs you can post for them to look at? I am currently awaiting my follow-up results (previous testing was prior to starting T3-only RX). As I am feeling somewhat worse, I am suspecting adrenal (as I have already suspected for many years). I will post question at the adrenal site and thanks again for all you do! >

Temperature stability is the big indicator for adrenals, have you done the " 3 times a day " average test?? Nick
