Guest guest
New labs: Sodium: 3.8 Potassium: 4.0 I am on 120 meq of k-dur and 1 tab of florinef+ sea salt. Extra salt just gives me leg cramps, but not swelling. I took HC, t3, and florinef morning of test and skipped potassium/salt. Should I increase florinef? If I did, I think I will be on florinef only, no cortef. I have had a high pulse for 2 years and some low sodium symptoms.
Guest guest
I would raise the Florinef with these labs. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
Oops, I meant sodium 138. One more question. When I have not taken my florinef the morning of test, my sodium is 143 which is good. If I do take florinef before the test, my sodium drops to 138. My afternoon sodium levels are low too(after eating, florinef etc.) Is it possible that sodium pools and this explains my results? > > New labs: > > Sodium: 3.8 > Potassium: 4.0 > > I am on 120 meq of k-dur and 1 tab of florinef+ sea salt. Guest guest
Aldosterone moves sodium inot the cells from the blood. SO it makes sense blood levels go down after taking Florinef. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
