Take a couple of Asprin (or ibruprofen if you prefer) and see if it goes away in an hour or two. Guest guest
If you have a Blood Pressure cuff, take it to be sure it's not your blood pressure causing the headache, which it probably is not since you haven't mentioned BP issues in all your other emails. It seems you have messed around with reducing salt, HC, etc since seeing the doc in Belgium and you could have your body off even more. Your electrolytes could be off. Guest guest
Well i adjusted my hc dosing according to hertoghe making my first dose 20 mg instead of 10 and reducing the number of doses from 6 to 3. Now i take: Morning 20 mg Lunch 10 mg Bedtime 2.5 to 5 mg He said i prpbably need 35 to 45 mg hc because of my height. I was told today to reduce sea salt intake to 1/3 while starting fludrocortisone. I still Wonder if serum or tissue electrolytes Are the most important to follow. Guest guest
Thanks for the reply Nick. I do feel clearer in my mind on t3 only. For sure. We'll see if i can educate mr hertoghe about t3 only as time goes by.As for headache and dry mouth, i Wonder: can too Little salt give a dry mouth? I now drink half of my regular sea salt dose daily cause i started fludro today. I dont want to overdo salt supplementation!Sendt fra min iPhoneDen 16. mars 2010 kl. 09.43 skrev Nick Foot : > >Just a short question: maybe i need to raise t3 - but i cant cause hertoghe told me to stay on 65 mcg til i switch to erfa thyroid in one month. Guest guest
Yes, this groups + the website = very impressive on so many levels!I was just out driving, and I can really appreciate scenery more now! I do feel that my body is bloated, I am not in shape, my face feels like it's growing all the time, and I have what I call "major" heart worries/issues that's coming and going + low stamina. I am not healthy. But, I do feel better in some ways, thanks to T3-only! And probably HC as well.Newest symptoms:My dry mouth (since 3 days ago) and my stabbing heart pain. Trying to figure this out. Maybe slowing of my pulse is from being Hypo (I have yet to make a fresh FT3 sample without taking T3-meds before drawing the blood!), BUT it can also be from too much POTASSIUM *within the tissue* - I am drawing blood tomorrow to redo the "fullblood spectrometic electrolyte sample". My doc at that clinic didn't believe my results. He said they were too off whack - What if I really do have high potassium in my cells and low sodium in my cells? I talked to my GP today and tried to learn more about this.. How things go from serum->tissue.. I understand that as long as SERUM electrolytes are ok, tissue SHOULD be ok too. I dunno.() I had a potassium in the low end, 3.8 (3.6 - 4.6 range over here) that day of my arrhythmia. What does this mean? That I got a sudden fall in serum potassium due to my newly started Fludrocortisone THAT day?WHAT SHOULD I LOOK AFTER AS I START FLUDRO-TREATMENT (0.05 mg, half a capsule) ???* Potassium can fall, right?* Keep drinking SOME sea salt?I know too high potassium gives you slower pulse, and arrhythmia, which fits perfectly to the thing that happened to me last Thursday. HOWEVER, 1-2 hours later, a blood sample at the ER showed a low end SERUM potassium. Any comments to that, ? Maybe I in fact had too LOW potassium? But then pulse would be FASTER right?I appreciate any info in this very crucial time for my health and life! Thanks! >Thanks for the reply Nick. I do feel clearer in my mind on t3 only. For sure. Guest guest
As for dirnking sea salted water: Will you become dehydrated if you don't drink enough of it??I am trying to figure out if I am thirsty/dry mouth cause of too much or too little sea salt. Or maybe it's low aldosterone doing everything to me, and it will be better once I get Fludrocortisone working in a week or two!

Guest guest
Yes. But can TOO LITTLE salt make me thirsty? :-) If aldosterone is too low, and I dont drink enough salt. What happens then? And now that I am on fludro, isnt it a bad idea to drink too much salt, as fludro makes salt retain in the body better?Going for some sashimi now (sushi with no rice) - Is this ok? I bet it is - Except if I have too high potassium as salmon is rich in potassium. :pSubject: Re: Major headacheTo: RT3_T3 Date: Tuesday, March 16, 2010, 5:31 PM Â Too much salt will make you thirsty. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthet hyroidmadness. com/ http://health. groups.yahoo. com/group/ NaturalThyroidHo rmonesADRENALS/ http://health. groups.yahoo. com/group/ RT3_T3/ http://groups. yahoo.com/ group/HypoPets/
