Guest guest
>i posted this question earlier this week and didn't get an answer, and had another bad nite this week. i just increased to 2-5mcg in am, then 1-5mcg before lunch. had 2 really bad nites this week, either getting to sleep or waking up wide awake and not being able to go back to sleep. am also taking isocort (total of 10 per day). A lot of us found sleep quality increased when we took a T3 dose as the lights went out. What timing are you taking the isocort with? A lot of this sort of sleep problem is adrenal issues, either too high or too low a cortisol at night or an adrenaline rush at night. What are your temperatures and pulse rate doing? When you wake wide awake are you feeling hungry? is your pulse running fast then?? Guest guest
thanks nick, i've been taking 5 isocort with brkfst, and 5 w/lunch (on a side note i thought isocort was to be taken with food, not sure if that's correct?). my last cortisol test (last summer) showed low cortisol for the 1st reading, the next 3 were on the low end of normal. i'll be retesting soon. my temps, pulse and blood pressure all run low throughout the day. my temps have come up a bit since starting the cytomel and isocort, but are still in the low 98's, and still some variability throughout the day. i do often feel hungry when waking up during the night or when having trouble falling asleep. no fast pulse at that time. my brain feels wide awake and i often have some muscle tension (which can increase from the stress of not being able to sleep). as a side note, i am taking magnesium, and i've tried a lot of the usual sleep supplements-melatonin, kava, 5htp, theanine. susan > > >i posted this question earlier this week and didn't get an answer, and had another bad nite this week. i just increased to 2-5mcg in am, then 1-5mcg before lunch. had 2 really bad nites this week, either getting to sleep or waking up wide awake and not being able to go back to sleep. am also taking isocort (total of 10 per day). > > A lot of us found sleep quality increased when we took a T3 dose as > the lights went out. > > What timing are you taking the isocort with? > > A lot of this sort of sleep problem is adrenal issues, either too > high or too low a cortisol at night or an adrenaline rush at night. > > What are your temperatures and pulse rate doing? > > When you wake wide awake are you feeling hungry? is your pulse running > fast then?? > > Nick > > -- > > for more information on RT3 and Thyroid Resistance go to > > www.thyroid-rt3.com >
