I am very obsessive when I get in bed at night. Does that have anything to do

with needing more T3. And here I go loosing all this weight I gained. I am 6

weeks into this and I am at 50mcg T3

I have same probleme at night, I can't sleep. Lately I've been relying on meds

to fall asleep but they lose effectiveness after a night or two. Would the cream

help for me as well? I also get tummy pain from too much cortef and am now on 70

mcg. cytomel. Hope this is not considered hi-jacking.

Hi Ellen,

Do you have high Cortisol at night? This happened to me and just got worked up when I went to bed.

I ended up stopping both and am now starting over. My saliva showed high cortils at night. I am now taking 171/2 mcgs of T3 at night with no problem. I am not able to take T3 in the day as my Cortils are not very high the rest of the day. If I take more than 5 mcg I get anxiety.

My heart goes out to you as it is very scary when you are not able to get rest.

I am experiencing high anxiety when I get in bed at night. I am not sleeping. It does not seem to matter whether I any t3 or cortef at night. I am exhausted.I am on 12 1/2 T3at 7, 10,1 adn 6 1/2 at 4. I am on about 20 mg of cortef. When I raise the cortef, I start having severe stomach problems. What is causing all the night time anxiety? Should I raise the night time dose or which is the next dose I should raise.Thanks Ellen
