I believe both green and black teas have tannins that inhibit iron absorption.

I didn't give up my tea, but I do drink it at least 4 hours away from my iron

dose.

Thanks for the link. Sheesh--just one more thing I am doing wrong! I gave up

coffee. Now I need to give up tea too???
