re:experiencing ocular migraines...

if you're talking about flashes of light for 20 minutes...followed by

headache lasting days...I discovered mine were to due to food

sensitivities eaten the " day before " ....

like for instance: chocolate, citrus, legumes like beans and peas, etc,

cheese like in pizza and macaroni, etc,....

Usually, that is for me, too.... Everything I thought caused it I would stop

eating but I would still get the migraine...

I have been having food allergies to the newest things latley- pineapple being

one... That is an anaphalatyc reaction...

What else can I eat? I don't eat anything with gluten, no sugar and no fruits,

no corn... What else can I give up? This just started last weekend... Usually

it only happens when I am using some kind of hormone (progesterone) or eating

something... The only new 'hormone' was a steroidal nose spray and then

Cortef....????

Alagonza,

I was taking 30 at my most and have been having withdrawl for about 1-2 weeks.

I just put it together though. Didn't know what to make of it. I'm going to

reinstate to see if it abates.

It's so nice to know that I'm not alone :)

How much were you taking? Headaches could also be low aldosterone which is just

as important as cortisol.

I'm not sure how to bring up the aldosterone. I've been out of the loop for

some time now. I'm not having headaches. It's completely different. I

explained it on another post.

THanks for your concern.
