Guest guest
I have a hyperactive immune system as evidenced by rheunmatic fwver in childhood and reactive arthritis in later life, Late in 2007 I discovered a mass of swollen lymph glands in the left side of my neck. They were biopsied and proved to be fourth stage non small cell lung cancer. A subsequent PET enhanced CT scan showed, surprisingly, that the original primary tumour in the lung had vanished and that the cancer was entirely confined to the lymph glands of my left neck, mediastinum and abdomen, I had three sessionz of chemotherapy with an excellent result, I had eight months remission when a malignant gland appeared in my left neck, To my pleased surprise, it slowly vanished over the next two months. I think it may be reasonably supposed that the disappearance of the primary and subsequently of the secondary in the neck have been due to my immune system attacking the cancer. There have been documented cases where cancers have been treated by enhancing the patients immune system Janice Dr Janice Baker
