Guest guest
Kim, Everybody is different. I did not have IV's, but I got worse after I started AP. After 4 months I noticed some very slight improvements. That continued with the two step forward, one step back that is familiar to many AP'ers. Flares became less severe and further apart. Hang in there. Make sure you drink enough water to flush toxins out, also Take care, Ute PS you can whine to us. Many of us have been there; we understand At 04:05 PM 3/10/2009, you wrote: > > > > > > Hi, I am 3 weeks out now with IV antibiotic tx and still sick.I have > > > bad chills, nausia, vomiting and the " d " 's any suggestions to help > > > make this easier? Guest guest
Hi , Get a firm grip and be prepared. It is a long bumpy roller coaster ride! Good thing, we do get times when we feel we have made it only to be knocked flat on our butts again and again. There is no easy way to get through this. If there were, there would be no support group needed. Keep up everything you are doing and keep on writing. We are here for you and for each other. To tell you everything will be fine next week, next month would be lying to you. Eventually you will get there. Keep reaching for remission. It is out there, but we have to work for it. Stay strong! We will keep you in our prayers and don't give up. Show this doc it can be done. I shocked a few docs myself. I saw my Infectious Disease Doc yesterday. He informed me that he and my Pulmonary doctor had a conversation about me and now both are converts to A/P. It is up to us to convert these docs. It also helped that my former Pulmonary doc sent my medical history from NY to my new pulmonary doc in Florida saying how well I had responded to A/P. There is another convert. Keep up the good work and someday, we will overcome big Pharm making our choices for us for Big $$$$ profits. I've been on Antibiotics since December 2005 and plan to keep taking them for the rest of my life if I have to. I am better now than I was in was in 2005, but I am not cured. If we give up we give permission to let the bad bugs kill us off. All good wishes for you, Dolores & Mike > > > > > > Hi, I am 3 weeks out now with IV antibiotic tx and still sick.I have > > > bad chills, nausia, vomiting and the " d " 's any suggestions to help > > > make this easier?
