Guest guest
So how does it effect the twelve week mark when you start T3 but then have to postpone raises for one reason or another, eg, to raise ferritin, or deal with a hashi's flare. I started T3 on Jan 10. I knew my ferritin was too low to start raising but read that it is a good idea to stop T4 and switch to cynomel to try to reduce more RT3 from being made. I had to stay on 12.5 mcg for a month or so then I finally got to start raising after iron IVs. Then had some cortisol symptoms and stopped raising because of that for a week or so, then I had this hashi's thing. So I won't be at as high an amount at 8 weeks or 12 weeks than I would if I had raised without the troubles. Is it more to do with the point when your dose gets high enough to feel non-hypo then four weeks after that the receptors would hopefully clear? I might be sounding like a dolt here \

For most people that happens at about the 6 week mark making 12 in total. If you only go up slowly then the total time will be longer.
