Guest guest
I've read a few papers that say there is no correlation to be found between dose/duration of corticosteroid treatment and HPA suppression. But it occurred to me that none of these studies said they looked at any *prior* level of AF/ " HPA fatigue " . It seems logical that if your adrenals are already not function well (and thus the HPA feedback loop is not working properly), it would take less of a steroid dose to completely shut to loop down. Val, do you know if anyone has looked at whether there is a dose/duration correlation if prior HPA function is taken into account?
