Guest guest
Recent levels from a saliva test on day 21 of my cycle (luteal): Estradiol 0.8 pg/ml (Normal range luteal 0.5-5.0 pg/ml) Estrone 2.0 pg/ml (Normal range 2.6-5.4 pg/ml) Progesterone 0.41 ng/ml (Normal 0.1-0.5 ng/ml)with cream supplementation Testosterone 25.0 pg/ml Normal (17-52 pg/ml) with cream supplementation DHEA 243.5 pg/ml Normal (33-300 pg/ml) with 7-keto supplementation Cortisol results (unsupplemented): 7:35 am 4.88 ng/ml (Normal range at 8am 1.0-8.0 ng/ml) 12:15 pm 0.28 ng/ml (Normal range at Noon 0.4-2.5 ng/ml) 4:10 pm 0.23 ng/ml (Normal range at 4pm 0.2-1.3 ng/ml) 10:05 pm 0.19 ng/ml (Normal range at 10pm 0.1-0.6 ng/ml) My doctor just put me on HC of 5MG MC capsules once in the am based on blood cortisol results. I have another doctor who did this saliva test. I see her tomorrow and wanted advice on what to ask for. One doctor looks at blood tests the other at saliva?? I also had these blood test results: Aldosterone 30 ng/dl (Normal range < or = 28 ng/dL) Iron and IBC W/O Reflex Iron, Total 164 (Normal range 40-175 mcg/dl) Total iron binding capacity 287 (Normal range 250-450 mcg/dl) %Transferrin saturation 57 High (Normal range 15-50 %) Ferritin 203 High (Normal range 10-154 ng/ml) I don't know what the high aldosterone levels mean or if it's anything to worry about. The iron and ferritin tests point to hemochromatosis I believe, which means I need to simply have my blood drawn regularly to bring those numbers down. And a few other out of range blood results: Low CO2 levels of 13 (out of normal range 16-26 mmol/L) Mildly high glucose of 103 (out of normal range 65-99 mg/dL) Mildly high Hemoglobin of 15.6 (out of normal range 11.7-15.5 g/dL) Mildly high Hematocrit of 45.7 (out of normal range 35.0-45.0 %) Mildly low Globulin, Total of 1.9 (normal 2.2-3.9 g/dL) Mildly high A/G Ratio of 2.4 (normal 1.0-2.1 ratio) I would greatly appreciate any input on these results and what to ask for at my appt tomorrow. I also suffer from high BP and pulse rate that I regulate with Atenolol. I'm too warm most of the time and suffer from mild anxiety and sweating. I take T3 compounded for my Hashi's (125- 150mcg, right now 137.5mc). My Free T3 levels go all over the place and keeping it in the optimal range is like chasing my tail. Thank you so much for your input!! All the best, a
