" he said they are going to begin testing/preparations to put her on a liver transplant list. he didn't talk to me long, but he did tell me that she missed me terribly and why didn't i call her - that she could talk to me now. i called and got through after several tries. she could hardly talk because her throat was so dry and her thoughts wandered. she was mainly complaining about him not staying up there with her etc; and she said she had had tremendous pain in her pelvic area front and back. they are getting her rehydrated, giving her meds to fight infection, they aspirated? fluid from her stomach and walt said tests on it weren't back yet. but sharon never mentioned to me being put on donor list - which i am sure she would have said something about so i am still a little confused. my mom is flying up sunday to stay for 8 days so i will find out a lot more then. she will talk to nurses, drs etc; and get more information that we can understand. thanks, shirley for thinking about me and all the rest of you guys too. it's midnight and i haven't slept since wed. night - i think i will collapse soon. love to you all, debbie (ark)

I am really glad that you have finally found something out and maybe soon you will know more about her condition. I am very sympathetic for her since I have hepatitis B and although hepatitis C is so much worse I still understand her pain and fatigue. Take care of yourself. I will be praying for you, your sister and your mother. Love, Shirley
