hi Ethel,

thanks for all the info ... would you suggest undertaking the cleanses at home

by myself, or going to a doctor/naturopath who can supervise the whole thing ?

Should I do it prior to taking the antibiotics, or does it matter if i do it

during ? There doesn't seem to be any doctors around here who take an interest

in gut health, and my AP doc certainly didn't suggest it. It's just that it

would be so much easier to do these things with a bit of guidance. Scammell's

book doesn't even talk about gut health very much, unless i missed something.

best,

~Leonie

, you don't need to pay a doctor or naturopath (if you could find

one) to help you with these simple cleanses. Personally, I'd do them BEFORE

starting the antibiotics but you do as you want to. I've laid it all out in

the email to Leonie to make it easy for you to follow.

Henry Scammell does not mention cleanses in his book as Dr. Brown did not

know of their importance when the first book was written, and Henry never

had any health challenges that would have caused him to research for them.

Alternative medicine deals with cause whereas conventional medicine is more

aimed at treating symptoms.
