Guest guest
No, but the seeming problem is that many of these go into my spam folder and I did not know this at the time. So when I received a rejection to my second post and my third did not appear, I thought they were blocked. I have since found that things are going into my spam folder. There are 14 there right now and they are all these kinds. I have no explanation why my second post was not approved, but I have found that I can find my missing things in my spam. Can you get this fixed for me? ________________________________ From: Alobar <Alobar@...> Coconut Oil Sent: Mon, July 12, 2010 6:33:55 PM Subject: Re: Re: Oils  Hi Lyn, I am one of the moderators. Guest guest
Lynn If you are using MS Outlook - Right-click any one of the emails and select Junk-email and then select Add Sender to Safe Sender’s List. You will get a pop-up box that says the sender is now safe. Click ok to close the box. After that all of your emails from the group will go into your Inbox. It’s never a bad idea to check occasionally, just in case one slips thru the cracks. Guest guest
I have no idea how your SPAM folder operates. I use Gmail which I view as a web page. For me, I go to the SPAM folder, check the e-mails which are not SPAM, and press the not-spam button. Guest guest
I do not have outlook, but that got my brain kicking and I tried something. So I shall see if it is the remedy. See, I do not know if picks up coconut-diet-forum and the safe sender, or if they pick up i.e. yoyoboy@... as the safe sender. ________________________________ From: pam <cocapf@...> Coconut Oil Sent: Tue, July 13, 2010 1:12:48 PM Subject: RE: Re: Oils  Lynn If you are using MS Outlook - Right-click any one of the emails and select Junk-email and then select Add Sender to Safe Sender’s List. Guest guest
If one receives Digest Form, not all posts are included. only chooses 25 posts for the Digest form. This could be the reason Lyn does not see her post. > > > Because my second post was rejected with no explanation and my third did not > > > post at all. Guest guest
Hello all, I have been hearing a lot about oregano oil, krill oil and grape seed oil (I think) from this group. I am wondering if it's necessary to take all three? Do they all have separate benefits? I have sero negative RA (currently still in remission post par tum 11 weeks...kind of waiting for it to come back any day). I am trying to be preventative. I would love to hear your regimens for taking these (how, how much, when etc). Thanks so much! Carey
Guest guest
Hi , I've been using Udo's oil with Callum - only for about a month (recommended by Natasha - many moons ago) - he takes it in juice, and seems to be doing well on it - as one other positive, I've been taking it and the start of arthritic pain in my hands has really eased - not sure if a nice coincidence;-) - it can be mixed in food as well, but does have quite a strong taste.....juice seems to disguise it well... Elaine > I have ben recommended by Dr G to get loads of oils into the boys pre op. Can anyone recommend what might be the easiest to disguise/hide in food etc. Fish oils are so disgusting and boys can detect them too easily. Two of them do take some capsules but one will not and one is too little to take capsules. What can I mix into food? They aren't on any special dietary restrictions so that makes it a bit easier. > Thanks, > > > > ------------------------------------ > > DISCLAIMER > No information contained in this post is to be construed as medical advice. Guest guest
Flaxseed oil can be bought in H & B or any health food shop. Organic olive oil too. Can be out on all sorts of food without tasting yuk > > I have ben recommended by Dr G to get loads of oils into the boys pre op. Guest guest
I think Krill oil is mean't to be the best because requires the least conversion but it comes in quite small amounts in capsules which are hard to squeeze - I don't know if that means you need more. Re: Foods to disguise them in - We don't give fish oils with any salicyllic foods eg orange, apple tomato because the hyperactive childrens support group told us these block conversion - I've always been mystified why then eg Nordic Naturals are flavoured with citrus. > > On 14 Apr 2012, at 16:10, Margaret wrote: > > > > > There can be problems with conversion of Omega 3s from plant sources to the form which the body can use. Guest guest
not sure whether Tom's getting the benefit (on basis that we give just after food and goodness only knows whether he's digesting it) but we just incentivise it madly and he takes it off a spoon. We used to have to do this with treats, now we just do it with mad praise and " that's my boy " . I know that sounds lame but we never in a million years thought he'd ever take capsules, foul tasting meds or anything else but he does when we present it to him straight " this tastes shit, take it and we'll be very pleased " . Occasionally he mucks about (who wouldn't? it tastes shit) but mostly he's cool with is. And this is a very intolerant chap. So it's possible. If we hid it he would sniff it out in seconds - anywhere. One part to a thousand - he'd know. Easier (for us) to just face it honestly and for some reason he respects that.
