Guest guest
Thanks Aisha, >Whats Subversive Depression??? Subversive Depression, as my therapist calls it, is depression that feeds upon itself until a " cycle " is broken by either a positive routine, positive therapy session, or positive meds, anything really that breaks the downward spiral. It also usually includes a " disjointing " of the conscious and subconscious mind, making me do or say things in my sleep that I normally wouldnt. It was very scary at times, for both me AND my husband. I have a very unorthodox therapist up here (and I'm very glad I do, because he's the only one that has really helped me so far). We use a combination of holistic, self-hypnosis, meds, and self-enforced positive routines. > " and CFS " > >Oooooooooh have they tested you for this? I ask as I ask everyone who >says they were told they have CFS. I was misdiagnosed with it and >almost died cause MANY dr's got it wrong. Have you had lots of tests? >Got any results? On any meds? Yes, I underwent a variety of tests in Boston, Mass. when I was in my late teens, which basically came back to me as saying " We have no idea what is wrong with you " , and which later turned into CFS. I've tried various meds for it, but really never had much luck until my current Depression therapy, which includes a UV lamp, which actually helps some with the CFS. I have a few friends up here, but not that many. It's just very differant than what I'm used to. Thank you for the welcome, it means a lot. Guest guest
Hi Dee, "Subversive Depression, as my therapist calls it, is depression that feeds upon itself until a "cycle" is broken by either a positive routine, positive therapy session, or positive meds, anything really that breaks the downward spiral." If this is too personal to answer just tell me to shut up, but do you know why you have this? >"and CFS" "Yes, I underwent a variety of tests in Boston, Mass. when I was in my late teens, which basically came back to me as saying "We have no idea what is wrong with you", and which later turned into CFS." Anyone test you for sarcoidosis? Just tripple checking cause what you said sounds like what I went through. "Depression therapy, which includes a UV lamp, which actually helps some with the CFS." Ever heard of SAD's syndrome? Its to do with the seasons and not getting adequate exposure to light. It causes depression. My husband has it. I'll send you some information on it. What made you move to where you are now? "Thank you for the welcome, it means a lot." An absolute please hon! If I can be of help let me know! Love Aisha
