As a former size 26/28+, I had to buy really expensive clothes to look my

part as a public speaker/management consultant dealing with a lot of

executives. So I spent tons of money on clothes and alterations and fabulous

jewelry (maybe if I had fabulous, creative, unique jewelry, they wouldn't

notice my size!). Now that I'm a 12-14-16 (on the bottom) and am (drum roll)

down 130 lbs. as of today, I can walk into any cheapo store and buy clothes

and still look good, no matter what fabric or print it is, stripes across or

down! But I got spoiled with clothes that feel really good and fall just

right so now I'm a thinner designer business suit and pant suit lady with a

lot more places to shop. You can even buy designer stuff at outlets if

you're a " normal " size. But for my casuals, I just " throw on " a cheap pair

of shorts and a cheap T-shirt! Ha- listen to me...I used to not be able to

find a t-shirt that would fit me even in men's XXXL, now I just " throw on any

old thing! " Pretty cool!
