Being hypo can also cause itching. Do you have high temps or pulse. What type of t3 are you taking?

Hi, I just read that hyperthyroid can cause itching. I'm itching all over my body insanely especially at night, could it be from the T3 I'm taking? I'm only taking 50mcg. Elyse

Hi Sky,can either cause dry skin?  It might be because my skin is dry.I'm taking cytomel and unfortunately, I keep forgetting to take my temperature.

Yes well if you have dry skin you are probably still hypo. It is very important to take temps and pulse while on t3.

I'll really try hard to remember to take temps.  I know basal temps are supposed to be first thing in the am before even moving but I always forget that one.  I can often remember as soon as I get up to go to the bathroom.  If I do that everyday, how much difference can it make if it's always the same?

I think the three temps 3 hours apart are supposed to be 98.6ºF but I don't remember what basal temps are supposed to be, what is that again?

How much t3 and when?

Have you tested your adrenals?

Are you taking t3 because of a ratio problem?

Hi Nick,I'm taking 50mcg of cytomel T3 split up as 20, 20, and 10.  I'm not sure when the best time to take it is, I usually take the doses around 8, 11 and then the last one by 1pm, thought sometimes I forget and take it later in the afternoon.  Should I break it up kind of like that?  I was never sure about that.

Hi, I just read that hyperthyroid can cause itching.  I'm itching all over my body insanely especially at night, could it be from the T3 I'm taking?  I'm only taking 50mcg.
