Guest guest
This is the third time I have posted this and do not know why I do not get a response. 97.8, 98.0,98.0, 97.9, 97.9, 97.8,97.8, 97.7, 97.9 pulse 88, 88, 84, 100, 7.9, 84,76 I don;t think I can continue to raise the T3. I am wasting away to nothing. How do I add armour to the already 12.5, 12.5, 12.5, 12.5 and 6.5 cortef. I had to lower the cortef because the symtoms were so bad. Blowing up like a ballon. 7 1/2, 5, 5, 2 1/2 2 1/2 The pain in my hips seems to go away when I add the T4 and get extreme when I go to high on T3 I really need help with this whole picure. Guest guest
ellen I took a couple days off the forums for me. I have a LIFE. PLease don;t get irate when people do not answer. SOmetimes we dontl HAVE the answers. Losing weight on T3 measn adrneal stress. It means your HC dose is still too low,. Unless oyu have gone hyper which neither your temps nor oyur pulse indicate. OR you may simply be on mroe T3 than YOUR body can tolerate at this time. To go back to Amrour simply drop 12.5mcg T3 for a grain of Armour thne in two weeks drop another 12.5mcg as the T4 wil be starting to convert to replace it. -- http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://nthadrenalsweb.org/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://www.thyroid-rt3.com/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
Thank you very much. I was not irate just scared. It seems I post and don't get answers but I see other peoples answered. Just a little confused. I know you guys are busy, but I am not doing well on either adding T3 or rasing cortef and everything else seems to be in order. Guest guest
Ellen, I also have been loosing weight at certain times during this journey. At the beginning it was nice (though I have never been really overweight) but at the end I started to worry about becoming too thin. First I lost weight when I was on Armour and without HC. When I introduced 30 mg HC I stop loosing weight. Then I started loosing weight again when I went on T3 (and HC was apparently not helping much this time), but now that I have reached week 12 and my temps have risen I have stop loosing weight (hope it lasts!). > > I don;t think I can continue to raise the T3. Guest guest
Hi Ellen, androgens are hormones. Androgens are basically male hormones like testosterone and DHEA. They are more dominate in males, however, females need optimal levels to feel good also. Testosterone has a lot to do with strength, stamina, and muscle building (also libido). Both Dhea and testosterone help with brain function as well. If you have blood test for these request DHEA-S and free and total testosterone. You can also do a 24hour urine test which will provide a lot of answers for male/female hormones, thyriod, and aldosterone. This test is a couple hundred dollars but provideds lots of answers. It will test all three estrogens and give ratios-which is important! There are other androgens besides test. and dhea that the urine test will give results for. There are something like seven all together. Most produced in the adrenal cortex, but test. and dhea are probably good enough if you are not interested in the urine test. Hope you find some answers! Guest guest
Androgens are the male hormones: testosterone, DHEA, androstenedione, ect. They are precursers for female hormone, estrogen. Even though they are "male" like, we women need and benefit from them!
