Guest guest
Lynn you are oin a bad predicament. There are VERY few doctors word wide that understand trating Rt3 issues.,You rproblem MAY be high cortios and too much natiural thyroid. the two together is a guaranteed highR RT3 problem. But to sort oyu out we nee dot knwo why ytoi need so much HC , possibly low aldosterone? And also you should get a complete iron panel as thta is anpother major cause of high RT3. Do you know anyone in the UK that could receive meds for you? I knwo many UK people thta order overseas successfully. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/
Guest guest
Hi I don't think I have high cortisol nope, as on this dose my adrenal symptoms went away. Plus I have no high cortisol signs like high BP, bruising, increased BG levels or anything. I know cortisol is not really that accurate on bloods, but here are my blood results take in October 2009: Cortisol (8hr) 1.0 (7-25) Transporting 41 (20-50) Free cortisol 8am 0.4 (10-30) Also, I was not even able to tolerate even 1/2 a grain of natural thyroid without my HC. My blood results of thyroid on 4.25 grains (and feeling good aside from low temps) was: TSH 0.02 (0.3-4.5) T3 Free 6.35 (2.1-6.9) T4 1.47 (0.7-1.8) AB to Thymoglobulin 100 (<100) Anti TPO 139 (<16) My doc has just tested my aldostrone, but, like an idiot, I forgot to salt fast, so will it be useful? I will get my latest labs back tomorrow. Iron Panel October 2009: HG: 12.1 (12.0-16.0) Haemocrit 36 (36-46) RBC 4.5 (4.0-5.2) MCV 80 (80-95) MCH 27 (27-32) WBC 5.38 (3.6-11.0) Neutrophilis 57.8 (45-70) Lymphocytes 35.7 (18-49) Monocytes 5.4 (1-10) Eosinophilis 0.7 (0-5) Basophilis 0.4 (0-2) Vitamin B12 1349 (300 -835) Folate Erythrocite 658 (140-628) Ferritin 156* (50-70 op, 18-170 normal) * Up from 49 at hypo diagnosis. Also, I only went off gluten after my celiac diagnosis in July, so apparently the body can be inflamed for up to two years after withdrawing gluten. There are lots of UK people whom I could get my meds sent to. The issue is them then getting it to me, as customs already made a big deal of it and have I am sure flagged me. They also told me that they are entitled to search my luggage when I travel and if I don't have a prescription for drugs in my case, I am in trouble. So, does Nick or anyone have a list of UK docs who will prescribe whatever T3 I need? Also, are there any papers or studies documenting people needing high levels of T3 to clear RT3 that I could show to my doc? Lynn From Southern Ireland > > Lynn you are oin a bad predicament. Guest guest
>So, I need to find a doc in the UK who is willing to give high doses as I read that many people seem to need like 125mg. I am tired of going to docs who say they are all about symptoms; but then will only prescribe like 2 grains. > >I cannot import prescription meds into my country as customs seize them.
