Guest guest
That sounds terrible.. And you're gonna get some good help in here! I can't say much except recommending you some supplements! These are grat for Hypo people, as well as those with Adrenal Fatigue. And good for Any people in general anyway.I think these would be the very minimum of intake of supps:2000 mg Ester-C Vitamin daily2000 iu Vitamin D3 daily1 B-Complex "100" (Solgar is great!)1 B12 sublingual tabelt daily2000 mg Omega 3 (or better yet, Krill Oil) daily400 iu Vitamin E natural mixed tocopherols dailyI was also adviced by my specialist to take the following supps, but it shows that Zinc actually lowers copper, which again makes iron update difficult, and we want to have a high (100ish) Ferritin to cope with our Hypothyroidism. And Selenium, while great against cancer, also promotes Thyroid, and you don't want more T4 when if you have an rT3-problem.60 mg Zinc daily200 mcg organic Selenium dailyAlso add extra virgin organic olive oil to your salads, and use real butter while cooking. in Norway  Hi I think that I may have an issue wih converting the T4 into T3.... I have read lots of your information about this but I am still confused (lots of brain fog at the moment!!) I was taking 250mg of Thyroxine until early last year when I found out about NDT and started taking this - GP was very unhelpful so I self medicated and stopped the Thyroxine. I felt wonderful for some months, lost weight and felt alive. Now I feel hypo again even though I have increase the NDT to 5 grains a day split over several doses. I have consistent headaches and so much joint an muscle pain that I thought I had fibromyalgia. I am stuggling to stay at work as the brain fog and pain make concentrating very difficult. Anyway I have arranged to have a new blood test and have asked for RT3 to be tested although the lab may not do this. She is also testing for Diabetes, liver and kidney functions. I have to have a xray as she feels that the back/leg/neck pain is biomechanical in nature. I have ordered some T3 from Mexico although I understand it can take some time to get here. Please can anyone give me any advise of any supplements with doses that I can take to support me. Many Thanks Sally

Checking if temperatures are stable according to the first link on this page http://thyroid-rt3.com/adrenals.htm and checking your Ferritin levels are at least 70 are a good start. After that then stopping the Natural and ramping up on T3 will hopefully start getting you unhypo. The muscular aches and " fibro type " symptoms are often related to being hypo and clear with suitable T3 levels. What make of Natural were you on??
