Guest guest
Anyone else notice this - I don't think that it's only b/c the heat is running. I feel parched when I wake up in the middle of the night too. I used to drink a ton of water every day after the kidney stone experience of 2005, but I've cut way back b/c of what I've read here about not drinking too much water because of how it retards digestion, and, what I do drink is often salted which seems to leave me drier. Guest guest
, I just sent you an email in response to the questions you asked in the other email. I think the dryness can be a few things...digestive, thyroid, and overall hormones all come to mind. I have been better this year so far (knock on wood) but I also got some good body butters that I use on my driest parts. The " Yes to Carrots " brand is good for the hands and feet overnight but it is a bit greasy so I do not use it during the day. During the day I use a Dead Sea Milk and Honey butter or my lotion which is Kiss My Face Peaches and Creme Hydratant Ultra (paraben free). The Dead Sea butter is too expensive for me to keep up so the Carrot brand and Kiss My Face I will continue when that butter runs out. I find butters generally retain moisture better than lotion but the Kiss My Face has glycerin in it like the butters so it holds it better than most lotions. For the lips I use any or all of these: 1) Eco Lips- organic 2) Chicken Poop 3) SuperLysine Plus Cheri Dry lips and fingertips Anyone else notice this - I don't think that it's only b/c the heat is running.
