Guest guest
Thanks , Yes, the two cups of coffee allow Cliff to relax enough to get through the day. On Thursday he will most likely be prescribed Risperdal 3 times each day. It seems to be the drug of choice now. I am normally an " anti-drug " person, but the way it was explained to me is that Cliff is missing a certain gene. The stimulant (caffeine) is necessary for him to focus and relax. When he's knocking, tapping, chewing, crying etc. I have been giving him Pepsi and coffee. Within a few minutes, he visibly relaxes. The running also helps quite a bit. Also, the X-box has been a lifesaver. We've been waiting 3 months for a proper diagnosis. We live in the Country, and the School has been fantastic. He doesn't go every day, and he has been suspended for fighting, but they know his situation and do all they can for him. Have a great day, . I know it is not normal and I emailed Gaby yesterday about it and she still said until I am not losing weight or I start really getting hungry not to worry about a fill. I am down 45#s and 3 pant sizes. That is about 3# a week on average. Some weeks I may not lose any but then it may be a little more the next week. How is your mom doing? I hope everything is going okay for her. DOB 6/22/07 253 / 245/208/145rena brown <rena71857 > wrote: Hi , How are you doing? Are you still getting full without a fill? Are you still losing? Guest guest
That would be neat if I didn't have to have one, but I am sure that it will probably slow down eventually and then I will get one. People are really starting to notice now and ask about it. My family is so excited and supportive. I hope everything goes well with your mom. She will be in our thoughts and prayers. rena brown <rena71857@...> wrote: I have heard that some people never need a fill that just having the band has tightened it enough so I think it's great...Keep it up...45#'s is awesome! 3 pants sizes is more than awesome!!!! Guest guest
Go to www.rheumaticsupport.net register, if not already registered, and join in. This doc cured himself of RA using the AP and treats many different auto-immune issues with the same/similar protocol. Hi Everyone, Dr Sentef will again be doing a chat for us this Thurdsday night. What a golden opportunity for anyone needing a great AP doc to help with their questions. How many of you are doing this solo? I mean without the expertise of a good AP physician? Does your doctor dabble in this treatment? Do YOU have to tell him/her what to do because he/she really has no clue on their own? Perhaps they should be paying you for an education concerning AP? Dr Sentef has treated his own RA with success so he has been to the well and back himself. HE UNDERSTANDS your angst! How many other doctors can say that? NO question is too trite here. If something is bothering you it needs attention. ASK for help and he will do his best. When the chat is over it is over. NO second chance to get in a question. Don''t kick yourself after the chat is over because you couldn't think of a good question. If something is bothering you then you do have a good question to ask. Sit down now and think of a question you need answered by one of the best doctors out there doing AP for their patients. When will you get the chance again? Americans love free anything and this is a FREE office call. FREEEEEE! I love the sound of that. I pay up the wazoo here for routine medical care and get little in return. Wish I lived next door to the Sentefs! This office call is only a keyboard away so please take advantage of wonderful FREE medical help by a caring and knowing physician. He is a real peach to do this for all of us! I will be posting the doctor chat protocol for this in a separate post for those that haven't chatted here with a doc in the past or for those that wish a reminder. The protocol IS different from our regular chats. If you know of anyone having a need for AP, but are in denial, please ask them to tune in. They need not ask any questions if shy but can learn from what others are asking. Perhaps something asked will apply to their situation? They can then go from there. Sometimes when we tell someone about AP we get that glazed look. Know what I mean? Disbelief is what! I now tell people to get a book and read up. Smart people keep reading till the day they die. Learning new things never ends. If interested in helping themselves they will do it. Same thing on these doctor chats. If they really want to get better what better way to learn than from others in the same boat. Hope to see ya there! Please try to be on time in case someone asks the same question that is on your mind. --------------------------------------------------- Posted: Tue Sep 22, 2009 7:05 pm Post subject: PROTOCOL FOR DR SENTEF CHAT THIS THURSDAY NIGHT -------------------------------------------------------------------- Protocol For Dr Sentef Chat This Thursday Night Come early( 8:30 PM if possible) to get all the idle " hi and how are you " chatter out of the way. At 9PM EDT the question and answer period will begin. We will NOT be discussing after each question to allow as many questions as possible. This will be on our regular chat day and time to make it easy for those regular chatters not to forget this chat. Those wanting to ask a question please type in ? and the person keeping tabs will write your name down. (He will answer questions in the order they are asked. Barb & Marge will be telling you who is next.) Then type in your question and " WAIT " till you are told it is your turn THEN hit that enter key and post your question. For example, when it's your turn Barb may say, ask your question or , Joan and Debbie are next in that order. This will keep everyone else from having to wait while you are typing in your question. Make sure that what he tells you is perfectly clear before we move on to the next person. When he moves on to the next poster you can always type in another ? and get in line again. There will be ample time for everyone to ask several questions as we will go round and round. Please write down more than one question on your paper that you may want him to answer because someone else may ask the same question you had planned on asking. You can ask more than one question during the chat, just not at the same time to give all a chance. Don't leave anything to memory for it's easy to forget something at the last minute. Make sure you have pen and paper at your puter to take notes as you won't be able to save the chat. Sorry! Any questions on this protocol, NOW is the time to ask questions. We want everyone to fully understand how this will go so everyone comes away satisfied on the day of the actual chat with Dr Sentef. If this is you first time chatting with doc you are in for a real treat. He's not only smart as a whip but has a wonderful sense of humor to boot. Hope to see ya there!
