Carole,

Your symptoms sound a lot like mine did when I was first diagnosed with

dermatomyositis - red face - butterfly rash not rosacea as first thought- weak

muscles in neck and shoulders.

It was not until many years later that the cancer clinic told me that I had

markers for MCTD with CREST as well as the DM. I was in remission at that time

thanks to the AP but then had to deal with Lymphoma which thankfully am in

remission from that as well.
