Hi there,

I am trying to understand all this RT3 stuff and I just wanted to check that I

am understanding things right (I tried to post this question a couple hours ago

but it didn't seem to get through so please excuse if this is a double post!)

If someone is not on any thyroid meds, but has low cortisol and high-ish RT3,

then they get their cortisol levels up to normal with HC/Isocort, but don't go

onto to T3. Assuming everything else is normal, will their RT3 then rise even

more i.e. their free T4 will rise? And then when they go on T3 along with the

HC/Isocort, their free t4 and rt3 will then decrease to normal as long as their

thyroid gland is working ok?

Thanks!
