Guest guest
Below is a link to helpful information on chronic pain from the Cochrane Collaboration. for a couple of years I was the representative from a local Arthritis Socity to Cochrane. They do unbiased collections of information for concsumers. " The Cochrane Collaboration [a world-wide non-profit group] undertakes systematic reviews of research findings in order to determine the effectiveness of treatments for arthritis and other health problems. Reviews are submitted four times a year for inclusion in the Cochrane Library which is available online. While the full reports are available only to universities, hospitals and other subscribers for a fee, abstracts of all reviews (in every health field including arthritis) are free and can be obtained by clicking on www.cochrane.org. The Cochrane Musculoskeletal Group produces the reviews dealing with arthritis and reports that the following reviews have been added to the Library. " The Pain Toolkit….is for people who live with persistent pain http://www.talkinghealth.org/uploads/Pain%20Toolkit%20Booklet%20May%202010.pdf -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- _______________________________________________ Consumers mailing list Consumers@... http://lists.cochrane.org/mailman/listinfo/consumers
