OT: Pain Help from the Cochrane Collaboration

Below is a link to helpful information on chronic pain from the Cochrane

Collaboration. for a couple of years I was the representative from a local

Arthritis Socity to Cochrane. They do unbiased collections of information for

concsumers. " The Cochrane Collaboration [a world-wide non-profit group]

undertakes systematic reviews of research findings in order to determine the

effectiveness of treatments for arthritis and other health problems. Reviews are

submitted four times a year for inclusion in the Cochrane Library which is

available online. While the full reports are available only to universities,

hospitals and other subscribers for a fee, abstracts of all reviews (in every

health field including arthritis) are free and can be obtained by clicking on

www.cochrane.org.

The Cochrane Musculoskeletal Group produces the reviews dealing with arthritis

and reports that the following reviews have been added to the Library. "
