Guest guest
Hi Kelty, Love your name by the way, is it short for something, or just Kelty?? I am happy you are enjoying the list so far, we are a kind and supportive bunch of people. You will get nothing but good vibes and good information here. But.....remember none of us are doctors, we can only relate from our own experience, so don't take all we say as gospel. Glad you like the symptom check list, some doctors do hand them out....when I go to my doctor, he hands me a chart with Worse, Better and Gone as the heading, and you fill in below what symptoms have gotten worse, disappeared or improved....I usually just put a vertical line down under the word worse and hand him typewritten notes of what is going on that month. So sorry you cannot make Gettysburg, but first holy communions sure do come first. Maybe you can make the March on Washington on May 3. Hugs, Marta >From: " Kelty Kelley " <keltyk@...> > >I just wanted to thank every one for their warm welcome--I am so impress >with the amount of real and current information you have floating around >here! > >I love the idea of symptom check list and created one for my self--only been >doing it for a few days now, but what a wonderful way to really let me and >my MD know what is going on! Guest guest
Im in Redondo Beach, saw the channel 7 news report, while I was happy to see something on Autism, I was kind of disappointed with the tease of NEW HOPE, finding out it was OT. Guess no miracle for CB...he is 6 as well. CB's Granny
Guest guest
Did you see both segments? One with a in Santa Clarita watching videos using his remote control, I did like the way they had the TV installed on the wall. That was on at 5:35 and then at 6:26 was the Sensory integration, which is not for all autistic kids and they did not even mention that is a separate disorder. Very disappointing, but at least something was on the news. I was thinking of sending an email about it. That's good, right? That's GREAT Bab!! I think that is one of the most important things, to remember we don't have to turn to food to feed emotions, celebrations, etc.

That's good, right? Hi Bab. Welcome. That is terrific! Way to go on not turning to food. That is definitely something good. I'm Beth. Been here awhile, but was off my food plan for a time. I just popped back in a few days ago. Long story short--I have lost 75 pounds. I have roughly 30-40 to go. Hope you stick around! Guest guest
I appreciate the great comments. It is so awesome to know that I am no longer alone in this disease. Dolores and Mike, I haven't taken Prednisone in 10 years. Only been on aspirin for that time. So hopefully I am OK? I am beginning to hope again and all the comments are so encouraging. Thanks, Gloria
Guest guest
Wonderful that you have not had any Prednisone in 10 yrs. Your body is ready to accept the Minocin. Go! girl! We are excited to hear about your progress as you go on the A/P journey. You may have a problem finding a doc that will give you antibiotics. I did and changed docs several times because I made several moves last year. I finally went to an Infectious Disease doc and that made me able to get my antibiotics much easier! Take care, The best to you, Dolores & Mike From: gloriahsmom <gloriahsmom@...> Subject: rheumatic Thanks for the warm welcome! rheumatic Date: Monday, May 4, 2009, 4:36 PM I appreciate the great comments.
