Guest guest
Hi ??? I do not know what disease you have but I have SD.I was on 200mg a day for 4 years and did have terrible blue marks on my legs.Since I am doing so well I dropped it to 100mg every other day,it took 3 years to pretty well fade away.No eye problems though. Bruises last a while also, which I attribute to the minocin. I also have a bit of virtigo from the minocin. I have these side-effects from only 100 mg, so I couldn't imagine the side-effects I would have gotten from 200 mg. You didn't mention the disease from which you suffer, but I would ask your doctor about reducing your doseage to 100 mg. Thanks for the response - I was originally diagnosed with Subcutaneous Lupus, the skin stuff, and secondary sjogrens but, as I've improved, rheumatologists have not been quite sure what to make of it. At his point, I have a generic diagnosis of Mixed Connective Tissue Disease - I'm seeing an ophthalmologist in a couple days to confirm my guess, or shed additional light on the matter, and then, yes, I may have to consider reducing the dosage of Mino. We'll see... Thanks again for the reply, tim
