Guest guest
Hello everyone, I am just wondering if there is anyone out there that takes ldn along with minocin, or by itself, for their rheumatic disease. I have dermatomyositis and I did try ldn over the spring and summer and failed miserbly. I now realize that I had an underlying yeast infection that I had not gotten under control being starting ldn. I am currently on an anti-candida diet, taking nystatin, grapefruit seed extract, other antifungals, probiotics, and other vitamins. After 2 weeks I am feeling much better. But I plan to continue this regime for at least 4-6 months until my immune system is stronger. Then we'll go from there. Has anyone had an experience like mine? One where you had to stop ldn, clear up a yeast infection? Then, you were able to get back on with good results? Just looking for advice and encouragement. Thanks for all your help! Sincerely, Suzanne

Guest guest
Suzanne, I didn't have a yeast infection but I had to go off LDN for several months because of surgery and then taking pain medication. I went back on LDN without a problem. Just make sure you keep taking your probiotic every day even on LDN.
