I am hypothyroid along with my vulva burning. I eat a lot of soy because I am mostly vegetarian...

Stop!!!! Soy is a major goitrogen -- it interfers with thyroid hormone

production and is a BIG contributing factor in hypothyroidism. For

some good information about the dangers of soy consumption, check

out the Weston Price Foundation website. . . or just google "soy dangers thyroid." You'll have plenty to read.

I'll leave the explanation of the interrelationship of soy to female sex

hormones to Dee. . . . :)

Hi,

For what it's worth, I listened to an interview Sat. with Dr Kaayla s

who wrote the book, The Whole Soy Story. Very interesting information on

why not to eat soy products. I have read other stuff by Sally Fallon and

Enig and they are very credible. I have seen Sally Fallon speak and the

information she shares is not to be lightly. Their research certainly

points to a connection between hypothyroid (among other things) and soy

consumption.
