Newly diagnosed member with a question

I was diagnosed last week by core biopsy with IDC. I don't know the

stage but since the mass is less than 3cm I assume that it is Stage I.

I see the surgeon tomorrow afternoon. This will be my first visit with

anyone since getting the diagnosis. Since the core biopsy I have

noticed a very small nodule about 2 inches up and slightly to the left

of the IDC mass. Perhaps it's been there for some time and am now just

noticing it. Could this be related to the core biopsy? Or is it

another mass? I'll probably have more questions tomorrow after my
