yes but I am choosing to ignore you! But first let me thank you all for the

nasty messages dropped into my mail box. Your hospitality is truly overwhelming.

Subject: OT: Ice Man WAS Re: paradox of parasites

My source was my memory of a documentary. I checked the web, using

objective sources, and found no evidence of hemorrhagic death. Otzi

died 5,300 years ago. I found variously that he fell into a crevasse,

died of exhaustion after running away from an attack where he

sustained a serial rib fracture, died of an arrow wound (USA today,

probably wrong). He was carrying a fungus said probably to treat his

worms. An analysis of his hair indicated that he had consumed no

meat, milk, or eggs for several years. It was speculated that

either he was a wandering shaman or he might have adopted a vegetarian

diet to help rid himself of his worms. Do you have a reference for

the hemorrhagic death scenario?

an objective source? He hemmoraged to death from a chronic parasitic

infection. In fact he was carrying a satchel of herbs to fight the

parasites.
