Panic not, you have been caught out by the decimal point. Your ratio is 118 which means you have virtually no Rt3 in the serum I can't remember how long you have been on T3, has it cleared in the receptors yet, if not hang in there Nick
Guest guest
Wowwww,Nick is that right! Ratio 118.I can't belive it! Nick, since the FT3 and RT3 are in a different units pg/l and ng/l don't I have to move the decimal point for the FT3? I have been on T3 for 6 months but I'm still very bad.If you remember I'm the one having truble to raise the T3 more then 50mcg and now back to 35mcg.Do I feel so bad because my FT3 is still low or what? I know from 22 years experience I'm still very hypo. I'm trying to understand what is happenening and what is holding me on of getting good to normal and still running into a brick wall lately with no explanation and answer why,I can't raise T3? thanks Milena > > >FT3 355 230-420pg/dl > >RT3 3 11-32ng/dl > > > >If I'm right by my calculation I'm still not in a good shape with FT3/RT3 11.8 ? > >I can't belevie even my RT3 is so low with this low FT3 I still have such a low ratio. > > Panic not, you have been caught out by the decimal point. > > Your ratio is 118 which means you have virtually no Rt3 in the serum > > I can't remember how long you have been on T3, has it cleared in the > receptors yet, if not hang in there > > Nick >

Guest guest
Val,that is very good news then. Then should be just the matter of time /t3 to get to the receptors.I appreciate so much you pusshing me on staying on T3 only. When I feel so bad and nothin gmakes sense I'm easy to go with anything and try just to see if will help.I just need to find some explanation on why I'm still very hypo even though of this test and still can't raise the T3.I'm willing to belive is all adrenal even on such a high dose of HC and that's why probably it's not getting to the cells. Before I started the florinef all of the pufinnes I thought is high cortisol but it turnos out is electrolytes. I just don't know if I shudl try going higher on HC and I need your help Val. thaks so much Milena > > FT3 355 230-420pg/dl > RT3 3 11-32ng/dl > > Your Rt3 is fine. 355/3= 118 > > -- > Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV > > http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/RT3_T3/ > http://groups.yahoo.com/group/HypoPets/ >
Guest guest
Nick, thank you for your help.I'm not able to clear my head still form the fog. So,I do have FT3/RT3 118 but still not feeling with enough energy and cleared the hypo problems. I'm 6 months on T3 like I said but on a very low dose.Do you think I need a time to clear the receptors nd if not being able to raise the T3 more then 40,45mcg is a matter of time to get to receptors or for this to happen I need higher dose to get my levels in th etop range of FT3? thank you so much for your help Milena > > Here are my last test > TSH 0.05 0.40-4.50 > FT4 0.2 0.8-1.8ng/dl > FT3 355 230-420pg/dl > RT3 3 11-32ng/dl > > If I'm right by my calculation I'm still not in a good shape with FT3/RT3 11.8 ? > I can't belevie even my RT3 is so low with this low FT3 I still have such a low ratio. > The last few days I had to lower my T3 again from 55mcg to 35mcg because of very bad anxiety and waking up during night with anxiety. > I know you will ask me for my ferritin and here is the iron panel > iron 142 29-183 > unsaturated iron binding 121 141-353 > TIBC 263 228-428 > ferritin 202 10-291 > I also increased my HC from going back down to to 27mg to 37mg ,it's helping a bit with the anxeithy but can't moove up with T3 at all. > Thanks > Milena >
