Guest guest
Hi Alixe, Take a look at aldosterone issues--I'm having to test for that now, with symptoms similar to yours, plus spells of weakness. There's a page on this at STTM. Peggy high pulse, low temps, low bp I have a consistently higher pulse - 88-92 average, sometimes over 100.My temps are lower - usually 97.5ish.My blood pressure is lower - 90/60 or sometimes a bit higher.I have been on the T3 protocol 6-7 weeks now and am on 65mcg.My saliva adrenal test was fine prior to starting the T3 protocol; note: I had not been on any thyroid medication for 2 months prior to the adrenal testing.Q: What's the scoop with the high pulse and lower temps? I'm still freezing - especially hands and feet. I've tried the salt water test and it didn't do much. I'm currently working on low B-12, low folate, and low Vit. D. No ferritin issues. Thanks for all responses.Alixe
Guest guest
I have the same symptoms as you, and when I tested electrolytes recently, both sodium and potassium were low. The salt water test does nothing for me, but If I drink Canada Dry Club Soda, which is potassium based, my pulse drops. Guest guest
I think low aldosterone might be my issue; however, I don't have cortisol issues per my saliva test prior to starting treatment. Is it possible to have an aldosterone problem but NOT a cortisol problem???
