Guest guest
Hi Gail, I'm sorry you're having to go thru all the testing to find out whats up. My original diagnosis was from the chest xray and subsequent bronchoscopy. It was my eyes, actually bilateral iritis that started the ball rolling. You'll have a little bit of a sore throat tomorrow after the bronch, but it really isn't bad. Nothing that a good milkshake won't take care of. Let us know what we can do to help you. Compassionately, TRacie

Guest guest
joints - ankles and wrists. The rheumatologist told me it was RA. Then in November, the neuro part started. First, it was numbness and tingling in my face and head. Then the numbness went to my torso and legs. An MRI showed demylination, so then the neurologist thought it was MS. After a multitude of negative blood work and lumbar puncture, something finally showed up on a chest X-ray in December. The Hi Gail, Nice to meet you. What you are going thru is the same thing a lot of us are going thru. I first I had joint pain in my elbow, coughing, shortest of breath. They found mine on a CT then did a biopsy. My mri showed white spot throughout the white matter and also said it could be demylination. Finally 3 Dr.s said it was neurosar. Good luck and talk to you later. Love to ya,

Guest guest
Hi Rose! No I had to give my puppy away when I moved in with my fiance' because there was not fence. On a bright note.. I am due Sept. 20th.... I am so excited. I am sorry that everyone has been going through hard times lately but IT WILL GET BETTER. I will have to give you all more detail on what I have been going through with the NS... let's just say that I don't have a doctor because mine is an asshole. I am moody right now so I don't want to go into too much detail.. it will just piss me off. So let's just say for a while I was ....well.... self-medicating....(not in a good way). I love you guys and I am so glad to have you all back in my life. I am sorry I went away for a while..part of that self-medication, denial crap. I promise you I will give you more details later. Guest guest
I am also having a lot more problems with hearing, do any of you have problems with your hearing. Jeanna, Yeah my hearing has gotten to where it's really fun thinking that I heard something-- and low and behold-- I wasn't even close. I had a hearing test done, everythings fine from a physical standpoint, so ENT and Neuro both explained that there may be a connection in the nerves that isn't getting to the part of the brain to tell me what it is that was actually said. Hopefully, when we get onto a treatment that will knock this sucker into remission, those nerves will settle back done and fire right. Love to you, Tracie

Guest guest
Hi Jeanna, I have a ringing or a buzzing going on in my ears, they some times hurt, but as far as being unable to hear, I've not crossed that bridge yet thank goodness.. but I know something is going on by all this buzzing.. Hope you feel better real soon, Hugs, -- Hello Everyone Hello, everyone;well it has been an iffy day if you know what that means and I am sure that everyone does living with this old illness. I have worried myself to death about my MRI probably for no reason at all but I know that some of the things are totally new, I also did find out something about the corpus callosum. It is the part where there is nerve fibers and demylienating can occur causing problems so that is the reason they are focusing on MS, I am just not sure if I can have the MS and the NS thing. I will check in with the ENT in case it is just a polyp and also mention sarcoid as Stinson had suggested. Thank you for the info, every little bit helps especially when your doctor is out of town. I am also having a lot more problems with hearing, do any of you have problems with your hearing. It is like I hear you, but I think you have said something totally different. Oh well, I am an old woman of 43 guess I might as well expect my hearing, vision, and everything to go at once, ha; yeah right. Well I will quit fussing and say thanks to all of you who wrote back so quickly and wish that everyone is feeling better. At least no matter what disease it is MS or NS, I am well acquainted with the medications used for it. Well I will close for tonight and chat at all of you later. I did make it to church today so guess I am accomplishing something. Your friend in Texas, Jeanna
