Guest guest
Hey, watch it! If you're an old woman at 43, what would you call me at 55?!? Jeanna, you know that sarc, and MS too I think, can attack the 8th cranial nerves, which can cause hearing loss & even total deafness. Another reason to get into an ENT & get all that stuff checked out. Love, the old hag in Indiana, Rose Hello Everyone Hello, everyone;well it has been an iffy day if you know what that means and I am sure that everyone does living with this old illness. I have worried myself to death about my MRI probably for no reason at all but I know that some of the things are totally new, I also did find out something about the corpus callosum. It is the part where there is nerve fibers and demylienating can occur causing problems so that is the reason they are focusing on MS, I am just not sure if I can have the MS and the NS thing. I will check in with the ENT in case it is just a polyp and also mention sarcoid as Stinson had suggested. Thank you for the info, every little bit helps especially when your doctor is out of town. I am also having a lot more problems with hearing, do any of you have problems with your hearing. It is like I hear you, but I think you have said something totally different. Oh well, I am an old woman of 43 guess I might as well expect my hearing, vision, and everything to go at once, ha; yeah right. Well I will quit fussing and say thanks to all of you who wrote back so quickly and wish that everyone is feeling better. At least no matter what disease it is MS or NS, I am well acquainted with the medications used for it. Well I will close for tonight and chat at all of you later. I did make it to church today so guess I am accomplishing something. Guest guest
Hi Jeanna. I have some hearing problems too. As the others have said, I think I hear something that was said but it was really something entirely different. I have noticed also that I hear noises kinda like whirring or buzzing also. I just contribute it to the odd symptoms of sarc. Hope you are feeling better today. Luv, Debbie T. Guest guest
The noises in the ear are called tinnitus; sometimes it's ringing, buzzing, bells, whistles, etc. Mine varies; at first it drove me nuts, but after awhile I got used to it & rarely notice it now. It's mostly in the right ear. Also, my hearing aid is designed to mask a lot of the noise. Rose Re: Hello Everyone Hi Jeanna. I have some hearing problems too. Guest guest
Dear Jeanna, I'll bet you are really getting excited. Sounds like a weekend to look forward to, just take care or yourself and get as much rest as you can. I'm not always very good at keeping up with all the emails. I have read about your husband's plight. How hard that must be for both of you. To go through what he has been through must be very difficult. Paxil can only do so much. Where do you live in Texas? Last summer I was in Texas for the first time. What a beautiful varied state. Have a fantastic weekend. You and your family are in my prayers. PJ Hello Everyone Hi everyone, well it is getting closer and closer to my daughter's wedding, we have a bridal shower this weekend so I will be going down there for that. I haven't seen her engagement ring yet so I am anxious to see that and see her wedding dress. I didn't get to see that even if I paid for it as they didn't have one in stock when she ordered it. My husband is supposed to get fitted for his tux and then my son will go down on Sunday for his fitting, then everything is ready until June 26. I am supposed to go and pick out a dress to wear to the wedding this weekend also wished I had lost a lot more weight but unfortunately the medicine doesn't let me lose quickly like I used to be able to if I had gained weight. I hope things are going better for everyone, I have been off the internet to much lately due to the fact my husband has had to use the computer so much for his work. I think he is suppose to do some contract work for a real estate co. for awhile until he finds another job. Please continue to pray for him so that he doesn't get discouraged as he is so easily depressed. He takes paxil but when things are bad it doesn't always seem to help. Thanks for being there for us lately and always. Take care of yourself. Guest guest
I know you must be getting excited. I know I am. I was hoping Brad & Kim would put an engagement picture in the paper, but they are talking like they won't.
