Guest guest Posted March 24, 2002 Report Share Posted March 24, 2002 I just have to ask this, even though it isn't about nutrition directly. But it is about health. Exercise... I need to do it. So, I am thinking about swimming. However, I worry about the chlorine (and other chemicals?) in the water. I think I heard that chlorine isn't absorbed through the skin as much as absorbed through breathing it in. Do people here recommend swimming as a good choice? I have fatigue issues and won't be overdoing it. It is difficult for me to exercise, and I *think* swimming may be something I can stick with. However, the chemical issue dissuades me. Also, the more I read about exercise it seems important to do weight-bearing exercise and lift weights etc. Perhaps this would be a better route... combined with walking. Are there certain basic recommendations about exercise that " mesh " with a NT diet? Thanks ahead of time for any thoughts on this.
