Should I Raise T3?

After taking a REALLY long time to get up to 75 mcg due to adrenal issues, I

sucessfully raised from 75 mcg t3 to 87.5 t3 and was feeling much better, but

then today, 4 days after the raise, my temps lowered, I got a terrible headache

and I felt like I'd been hit by a truck.

It's only been 4 days since my last raise, but I was wondering if I should raise

again, and by how much? I DID try taking more HC and it did not raise my temp at

all. In fact, this has been the pattern the past several weeks -- my temps seem

steady but low and taking HC does not raise the temps, in fact, it lowers them!

So I *think* my adrenals are doing okay now and I just need more t3.

My temp averages for the past few weeks are:

(luteal phase)

98.6 -- after raising to 75 mcg

98.8

98.8

98.9

98.7 -- I think my thyroid compensated here or my t4 decayed, but I was scared

to raise too fast

98.6

98.4

98.6

98.5

98.4

98.2 -- Day 1 menstruation so temps dropped accordingly

98.1

98.4 (after raising from 75 to 87.5)

98.6

98.5

98.2 -- this is today's average and coincides with feeling hit by a truck and

the bad headache

I *think* these temps show stable but low and that today shows my thyroid

compensating (or decaying t4) 4 days after I raised to 87.5.

Should I stay at 87.5 and see if the temps stay low, or should I just bump and

by how much? I am taking sr 3 times/day, am, aftrnoon and bedtime. After MUCH

experimenting, this works for me and believe me, I have tried it all. :-)

I am just nervous to raise because of all the adrenal issues in the past, but I

do think these temps show stable adrenals and just low t3, right? Is is okay to

raise every 4 days if needed?

Thanks,

Kathleen
