Guest guest
Hi my son is about 20 months (corrected age - he was born at 30 weeks) and has been on ght for about 8 weeks now. I was simply terrified about giving the shots - we are using a pen device and I can tell you it is no problem. rarely cries when getting the shot and I feel most of the time he doesn't even feel it. We always distract him with books or a video and chat away to him while he is getting the injection and it is going really well. We have an appointment on Monday to see our paediatrician and will be weighed and measured but he is roughly 19lbs. I don't think he will have gained a lot of weight this time because he catches every infection going and has been sick on and off since he started ght but he is beginning to eat more finger foods (biscuits, toast, chocolate, grapes, pear) which he couldn't eat several months ago. has serious problems with lumps and textures and has been on zantac for reflux although his vomiting is greatly improved. Hope this helps and you can e-mail me any time - I don't manage to get on the computer every day but I will do my best to reply as quickly as possible. Good luck Maeve Re: Thank you Deb..... > > Hi Inga..thank you for responding...i appreciate it. I think i would > feel differently about the gh's if i was in your shoes.
