I don't know anything about the iron test, but as far as RT3 goes I do know that

the level of RT3 in your blood will drop pretty quickly once you are on T3

medicine, but that doesn't mean that the RT3 has cleared the cells. I think if

you look through some of the old posts you may find some info about this. I

think that the mods use temps, pulse, and symptoms to figure out when the T3

clears because the RT3 blood tests don't help once you are taking T3 only meds.

Actually her other iron tests are low (and under the reference range), and with her ferritin being that high it would indicate inflammation causing the ferritin to be this high, from I remember Val saying. I would stay off the iron for 5 days and retest it. By the time you get them back, then hopefully Val will be back to help interpret them.

If you have a ferritin of 199. Your iron binding capacity should be low. Which hers is. The below range just means she has to much iron in her body. Same thing with the uibc its low because she has to much iron. So when her ferritin starts to come down they will both rise.
